Authors are gladly welcomed to the site! The goal of this site is to learn interesting new words and have fun while doing it (not to mention improving writing skills). In order for things to run smoothly around here I have a few rules I would like to point out.

1. All words for the week will be supplied for you. Do not come up with your own. You may, however, make suggestions or requests for words.
2. Write between 300 and 1,000 words per entry. (exceptions can be made for poetry)
3. You may write more than one entry per week, but always use the same word.
4. Take it seriously; use the word in good taste and style and try to use it in a way that helps the author and the reader to understand the word.
5. Use language and situations that are safe for children (roughly PG quality). This does not mean the material has to be childish, just clean.
6. Select the genre(s) that apply to the post in the category section. Choose the most specific one you can. If I've missed any let me know.
7. Accept the terms of the license as linked on the site.
